The late Shri Srichand Bharadwaj, a teacher of English and Mathematics at Digamabar Jain College Baraut, was the inspiration for ABSS Institute of Technology (U.P.). Shri S.C. Bharadwaj s father died when he was two years old, and he was raised by his grandfather, late Pandit Shivsahay. His grandfather recognised the value of education at the time, thus he was sent to Pillani for high school and later graduated from Meerut College, which was previously associated with Agra University. He began his career at the European Marwari School in Malabar Hill, Bombay, but his roots led him back to Baraut, Uttar Pradesh. There are persons in our world who provide so much to society but live in isolation; they carry out their responsibilities honestly and never complain; they are the ones who give life meaning. Let me live in the dark, unnoticed, and die without a trace, with no stone to mark my grave.
