Under the vibrant leadership of Late Shri Gopal Sharma, a great visionary and recognised educationist, the Modern Vidya Niketan Society began its first set of schools, MVN, Sector17, in 1983. Sh. Gopal Sharma, a true son of the earth who ascended to dizzying heights as a true son of the soil, led a crusade for the untapped vistas of "Quality Education for All." He realised his idea of a Senior Secondary School at Sec 17, an imposing educational institution, thanks to his compelling personality, charm, and iron will power. This school, which was built on 2.25 acres of land, marked the beginning of a new age in education. As a result, MVN Aravalli Hills was founded in the year 2000.It was a gigantic undertaking to create such an architectural masterpiece to bravely venture such a remarkable creation that remains a magnificent sight to behold, spread across a lush green valley of the Aravalli Hills and occupying an area of 8 acres. Nowhere is this more evident than in the 2002-03 session, when 24 students were accepted into several premier IITs across the country, followed by 27 proud IITians in 2003-04, 20 IITians in 2004-05, 21 in 2005-06, and a record-breaking 41 students in 2006-07 and 2007-08 sessions.
